To me, a mail club is long-form creativity. Thereβs magic in the bursts of inspiration that spawn one-off paintings, but earlier this year I completed a series of seven Cat & Cyclops paintings that revived my joy for working on an evolving, themed project. It feels like it uses my whole brain instead of just creating on impulse, and allows me to inject a motif with my funky-abstract-figurative style. The Almost Human Mail Club is a way for me to share this project with you. Iβm excited to see the series come to life month after month, year after year!
